Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our services.

Last updated: March 20, 2026 · Read our Terms of Service

1. Information We Collect

When you engage our services, we may collect the following types of information:

Personal Information: Name, email address, Discord username, and any other contact details you voluntarily provide during project discussions, inquiries, or purchases.

Project Materials: Any files, assets, specifications, credentials, or data you share with us for the purpose of completing your project. This may include server access details, API keys, branding assets, and technical documentation.

Communication Records: Messages exchanged via email, Discord, or any other communication platform used during the course of a project, retained for reference and dispute resolution purposes.

Payment Information: Transaction records and payment identifiers. We do not directly store credit card numbers or sensitive financial data — payments are processed through third-party providers (e.g., PayPal, Stripe) subject to their own privacy policies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected solely for the following purposes:

To deliver, maintain, and improve the services you have purchased or requested.

To communicate with you regarding project progress, deliverables, revisions, and support.

To process payments and maintain accurate financial records.

To resolve disputes, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect our legal rights.

To comply with applicable legal obligations or respond to lawful requests from authorities.

We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Ownership of Custom Work

All custom work created by The Quantum Development is delivered exclusively to the purchasing client. Upon full payment and final delivery, the client receives rights to use the work as outlined in our Terms of Service.

Unless a separate written agreement explicitly transfers full intellectual property ownership, the client receives a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, modify, and deploy the delivered product for its intended purpose.

When full ownership transfer is agreed upon in writing, the client receives complete and exclusive rights to the work, including the right to modify, sell, distribute, publish, and commercialize the product without restriction.

Pre-existing code, libraries, frameworks, or tools owned by The Quantum Development that are incorporated into the deliverable remain our intellectual property. The client receives a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use them as part of the delivered product.

This section is governed by and should be read in conjunction with Section 7 (Intellectual Property & Ownership) of our Terms of Service.

4. Confidentiality

All project specifications, data, credentials, business information, and materials shared by the client are treated as strictly confidential.

We will not disclose, share, or sell confidential client information to any third party without the client's explicit written consent, except when required by law or legal proceedings.

Our team members and any contractors involved in your project are bound by confidentiality obligations. Access to client data is limited to personnel directly involved in the project.

Clients are equally expected to maintain confidentiality regarding our internal processes, pricing structures, proprietary methods, and private communications, as outlined in our Terms of Service.

5. Data Storage & Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Project files and client data are stored on secure, encrypted systems with access restricted to authorized personnel only.

Any credentials or access details shared with us (server passwords, API keys, admin panels, etc.) are stored securely and used exclusively for the purpose of completing the agreed-upon project. We strongly recommend changing sensitive credentials after project completion.

While we take security seriously, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data and are not liable for breaches caused by factors outside our reasonable control.

6. Data Retention

Project files, source code, and deliverables may be stored securely for up to 90 days after final delivery for backup and support purposes. After this period, files may be permanently deleted without notice unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Communication records (emails, Discord messages, project notes) may be retained for up to 12 months after project completion for dispute resolution and reference purposes.

Payment records and transaction history may be retained for up to 5 years to comply with applicable tax and legal requirements.

You may request early deletion of your project files by contacting us in writing. We will comply within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or necessary for ongoing dispute resolution.

7. Third-Party Services

In the course of our work, we may use third-party tools and services including but not limited to: GitHub, Discord, payment processors (PayPal, Stripe), hosting providers, and development tools.

These third-party services have their own privacy policies and data handling practices. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these services and encourage you to review their policies.

We will never share more information with third parties than is necessary to complete the agreed-upon work.

If your project requires integration with third-party APIs or services, any data shared with those services is governed by their respective privacy policies.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you.

You have the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal obligations and the data retention periods outlined above.

You have the right to withdraw consent for the use of your data at any time, though this may affect our ability to provide ongoing services.
